FWSW-HW Cartridges are manufactured from 100% Polypropylene cord, which is wound around a stainless steel core. They are a premium string wound solution to reduce fine sediment, sand, silt, rust and scale particles. These string-wound cartridges are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 245°F (120°C) and will accommodate flow rates between 2 and 11 gpm with minimal pressure drop. FWSW-HW Series string wound cartridges are suitable for a wide range of filtering applications and are manufactured from FDA grade polypropylene. These cartridges are ideal for potable water filtration. Removing extremely fine to very coarse sediment, at higher temperatures. By varying the wind pattern, cartridges are fabricated to give a pre-determined micron rating.
